The 2nd Annual Ohio Infant Vitality Advocacy Day, held on September 17th, was hosted in partnership with Baby 1st Network, Celebrate One Columbus, First Year Cleveland, Groundwork Ohio, and the Ohio Collaborative to Prevent Infant Mortality (OCPIM).
Ohio Infant Vitality Advocacy Day brought together passionate advocates, healthcare professionals and community leaders to address critical gaps in maternal and infant health care and support in Ohio. We gathered at the Ohio Statehouse to advocate for policies that support moms and babies, including HB 7, expanded paid family leave, increased diaper capacity, housing support for pregnant and parenting families, and maternal mental health support.
